The City of Calgary has awarded their first Water Services Automation Master Plan project to the team of Associated Engineering, Eramosa Engineering and Opus Dayton-Knight. Prior to this project our firms were part of a team involved in conducting a Value Analysis with the City in 2010.
This project will review the existing installed automation systems at the various water, wastewater and storm facilities within the City, develop goals and objectives for the automation master plan, review industry trends and direction, evaluate the business requirements and how technology can assist in realizing the goals of the City, determine the fundamental functions of the automation system, define a system topology and architecture, identify communication strategies and security, and provide an implementation plan for the City going forward. In addition to the technical aspects of the project, our team will be working with the City to identify resource requirements for the ongoing maintenance and development of the system. We are pleased to be a key partner with the City on this strategic initiative.
Eramosa Engineering is also pleased to announce that we have opened an office in Calgary to service Western Canada.
